Yesterday we were reading about Nephi and his rebellious brothers. We talked abuot how Nephi was the youngest and the most righteous and how Heavenly Father told him that if his brothers continued, then he would be in charge. Glory then says to me, "I think the youngest should always be in charge!" Nice try Glory, nice try!

daddy's little helper
Matt finally had some time to work on the brakes on the van and Simeon of course was in the thick of it "helping". Matt totally enjoyed the "help". He absolutely loves having a son. There is just something special about a boy and his daddy. While we were outside, the garbage man came and Sim was standing at the gate the whole time watching the "big truck". Then as the garbage man was leaving he pulled the air horn. Simeon thought that was great!

happy easter! (I know I am a little behind)
Every year a friend of ours has a big Easter Egg hunt at their house. This year we had lots of strange weather (rain and sleet). Here are all the kids after the hunt with their loot. I think Simeon had one of the fullest buckets. I helped him find one or two eggs and then he was off and running. The kids had a lot of fun.
